Through its brands that are widely known by the name Panasonic, Panasonic Corporation based in Osaka, Japan, is a world class manufacturing in the field of electronic products, especially for the needs of consumer, business and industry. In Asia Pacific, Panasonic appears the first time by setting up its first factory in Thailand in 1961. Next few years, Panasonic operation in this area is growing. - SYNERGY OF TWO PHILOSOPY

The company was formed by the basic philosophy adopted by the discoverer, the late Drs. Thayeb Moh and Konosuke Matsushita Gobel. The late Drs. Moh Thayeb Gobel has a philosophy of "Banana Tree" while Konosuke Matsushita philosophy known as "Water Flowing". Until now the two philosophies come together and form an excellent synergy in building a Panasonic business in Indonesia. The late Gobel believe that the banana tree is the most appropriate symbol to describe the role of a company in the community. No part of banana tree that can not be used; fruit can be eaten, while leaves and other parts can be used for a variety of everyday purposes. The nature of the banana tree that can grow anywhere, making it always available anywhere, and regeneration is very easy. This is according to the deceased is the best reflection of a company, like banana trees where a company should be able to be very useful for the community.

Perhaps the late Drs Thayeb Moh. Gobel was the only person who believes that radio was the one who will take him to his company's success in the future. In 1954 the late Drs Thayeb Moh. Gobel established PT. Transistor Radio Manufacturing, which is the first transistor radio factory in Indonesia, with brand names Cawang. Step does not stopped until there, but continued with the work with the Panasonic Corporation, Japan in 1960 for "Technical Assistance Agreement." Then in 1962, his company was asked to assemble a black and white television in the framework of the Asian Games to be held in Jakarta. Panasonic Awards this year enter the year organizing the 12th time, since first held in 1997. Panasonic Scholarship

Scholarship program without any official ties to the university students who are achievers in this country to continue postgraduate study program (S2) at leading universities in Japan. Panasonic Scholarship (PS) was first held in 1998 to coincide with the 80th anniversary of Matsushita Electric Co.., Ltd.. In Indonesia, PS held consistently since 1999, was recorded until 2009, a total of 38 students, including alumni who have enjoyed the changes and benefits to their lives.

Finally, efforts and hard work of documentary film Kid Witness News (KWN), Indonesia with the title "Mangrove" the work of Adeline Tiffanie Suwana, Monica Celine Sutiono and Sean Trianto Prasad Kusmuljadi from Jubilee School Sunter, Jakarta, was not in vain. On June 19, 2008, KWN Indonesia won two international awards KWN competition in Japan.
